Get ready to celebrate your inner Santa at one of the most festive and well-loved holiday markets in Wisconsin! This two-day event, organized by the amazing Char terBeest Kudla of Helen’s Daughters Studio Handbags, brings together over 60 talented artisans in a curated show that’s truly worth the trip. Now in my third year at the event, I can honestly say it’s one of my favorites — people travel from Madison, Milwaukee, and even Chicago to experience this vibrant and diverse market filled with high-quality, handmade goods.
You’ll find everything from art and jewelry to delicious treats, festive décor, and of course, my upcycled wool wearables — cozy ponchos, scarves, mittens, and more, perfect for gifting or keeping for yourself! 🎁 I’ll also be joined by several of my talented artist friends, including Kipp Inglis from A Botanical Dyery, Susan Galkowski from Whisked Away, Laura Meddaugh from Jubilant Contemporary Folk Art Acrylics, Jan Raven from Jan Raven Jewelry Design, Ken Swanson from Wood Cut Prints, and Char terBeest Kudla herself from Helen’s Daughters Studio Handbags.
Friday’s “Celebrate Your Inner Santa” runs from 12 PM to 6 PM, featuring $5 Very Merry Moolah gift certificates for the first 50 shoppers, carolers from 2:30–3:30 PM, and a visit from Santa at 5 PM. Saturday’s “Plaid Saturday” runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, encouraging shoppers to wear plaid and show their support for small, local businesses.
With free admission, free parking, and an incredible lineup of artists and activities, this event is the perfect way to wrap up your holiday shopping and soak in the festive spirit. Come for the gifts, stay for the joy — it’s sure to be a very merry weekend in Baraboo!
