Spend the last weekend of October exploring the 26th Annual Earth, Wood & Fire Artist Tour, a self-guided driving tour featuring 18 artist studio stops throughout the scenic countryside of South Central Wisconsin. A studio tour gives you the opportunity to create your own route, travel from stop to stop at your own pace, meet artists where they create, watch demonstrations, and discover original work in painting, sculpture, wood, jewelry, textiles, pottery, and more.

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s also a great opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping while supporting local artists and makers. Instead of something off the shelf, you can find one-of-a-kind artwork and handmade gifts while learning more about the people and processes behind them.

I’ll be returning to some familiar stomping grounds at Tour Stop #18 with my good friends Derek and Nan Hambly, where I’ll have a collection of my Upcycled Wool Wearables ready for the cooler season. With 18 studios to explore, I don’t need to tell you which one to stop at first... 😉
